A day visit to the Mayan civilization in Tulum on the Yucatan peninsular, following a 45 minute coach journey from Playa Del Carmen in Mexico.
The Mayan civilization is steeped in ancient history dating back from the 10th century and much of it still stands proudly in this tropical high humidity area. If interested in ancient civilizations, it is certainly worth the visit! A point worth noting - the toilet facilities are basic.
