Great

We loved out stay in Orlando. There's certainly no real sights or culture to experience, but, you'll constantly have a smile on your face as everything is so warm and friendly. We're a family of 2 adults and 2 children (16yrs + 12 yrs) and the fun and enjoyment from seeing the kids so happy and entertained and wonderful. The destination also brough out the child in us adults too.

We decided to do a week in Orlando and a week in CLearwater on the beach (to relax from the chaos of week 1). In the Orlando week, we were up at 8am and back in at nearly midnight every night (doing a major theme park each day). We certainly needed the rest in week 2.

As a family destination (or I imagine for a young couple), this must be the best destination on the planet.

Aside from the monsoon type rainfall that seemed to happen at 3pm everyday, the weather was idyllic.

Travelling from the UK, Orlando is not cheap for a family of 4, but, it is well worth the penny saving Very Happy

Orlando is without doubt my favourite travel destination. You could never run out of things to do in this place. As ide from the theme parks and there associated resorts it is less than an hours drive to the nearest beach, you could take in a basketball game and there are good shopping malls with excellent prices.

However the theme parks are the main attraction for most visitors to Orlando and this is what makes it such a brilliant destination. The theme parks and water parks at Disney and Universal as well as sea world are not your ordinary theme parks. Unlike the masses of steel and concrete we often experience in the UK and elsewhere the Florida parks are superbly themed taking guests on a journey out of this world and into worlds of movies, adventure, super heroes, pirates, cartoons and animals among others. the attention to detail is breathtaking and the attractions are first class. also nightime entertainment and restuarants are provided in the theme parks and outside in their resorts i.e. Downtown Disney or Universal City Walk. If you have children you must take them to Orlando for the family holiday of a lifetime.
