We took a cruise to Alaska, the places we stopped were pretty boring. Juneau, albeit pretty, had the same touristy shopping as any other place in Alaska. Furs, jewelry, etc. The weather was pitiful. It rained and was cold the entire time. I understand it rains more there than Seattle, so you're forewarned. We couldn't go fishing, diving, or anything due to the weather. Unless you're a REAL outdoorsy person, I don't see the attraction.
