Enjoyed are time spent at the palm azur but i dont really think they are ready for the english yet, not mant of the staff could understand us and seemed a little rude at times, loved the beach, sand and beach bar but you do need to weat something on your feet if you want to go into the sea as its very rocky for the first 50 meters,

Drinks and food were ok as was our room, always had hot water, but wasnt enough plug sockets in room only one and the t.v was pluged into this.

Would stay again but in a couple of years time.

This was the worst holiday we have spent anywhere, food very poor, staff spoke no english, this hotel by Panorama or Tunisian stadards is no where near being a 5 star hotel, still building beach.

For other guests this is a all inc. hotel, price of drink and food for English guests is expensive. e.g. water 3td per bottle local, supermarket 1td per. six bottles.

Tunisia is a great holiday and we would not want to let this hotel spoil other peoples enjoyment of a great country and people.

Location and Island excellent, plenty to see and do. Shopping can be a bit stressful haggling constantly, but there were a couple of shops with 'fixed prices'. Hotel is in desparate need of refurbishment, carpets, bedding and furniture in the room were stained but clean. Outside area by the pool had many raised and broken paving slabs but were being replaced slowly. The pool itself was clean as was the restaurant. Hotels caters for mostly French, Germans and Dutch familys and is extremely busy, they are making a huge effort however to make us Brits feel welcome. Good choice of food in the restaurant and drinks included with evening meal if half board. As a family we gave it a 6.5 out of 10.

To describe this Hotel as Fawlty Towers would be to do it a great credit. The food was quite honestly indescribable, cooked breakfast - fried eggs, pancake and last nights left over vegetables. Most meat couldn't be cut with a knife or chewed and was minced up the next day as lasagne. Every person in our party suffered almost constant diarrhoea as did every other Brit we spoke to on our fortnight. We had the doctor out due to this but had to ring the UK to organise this as the staff pretended not to speak English until the insurance company rang the hotel direct. Once we knew who the doctor was we realised he spent a large amount of time in the hotel as we saw him frequently. The bar staff could only be described as random and even when we asked for drinks in French or German you would be given any drink they fancied giving you. Fanta became lager and black for example. The pool etc weren't too bad but did require some maintenance work as there where a lot of cracked tiles. Overall this was the worst holiday any of us have ever had. We will definitely be complaining to our tour operator.
