The hotel was fantastic despite only being 3 star rating. The hotel was directly on the beach and the food was excellent. The hotel was very clean and very pictoresque.
Diana Beach itself is a great beach and more of a nature beach than a tourist beach. Only downside is there isnīt much to do other than enjoy relaxing in the beautiful environment.

Brilliant, hotel and staff excellent and Safari topped it off, would recommend this hotel to all, and it sounds as though a lot return.
Monarch - Airline were very poor, as they only put on an Air bus that gives no leg room. This all they use to go out to Kenya. Can up grade to Kenyan Airlines which is a Boeing 747 but it costs ALOT for the upgrade.
People very poor and would advise to take out all old clothes to barter for other goods with or purely to give away. Mainly want brand names of value, but kill for SOCKS as they can not get. Will barter for anything.
Take sweets, pens, pencils, paper etc out to give to the kids as they have to buy for school and they really cannot afford.

Breathtaking is the word for this complex. The moment you are driven through their gates and see the thatched roofs and marble floors; your in love.
The entire complex is beautifully laid out and totally planned to optimise your relaxation and pleasure. Huge roofed restaurants, water gardens, 2x massive freeform swimming pools (one salt water one fresh) with swim up bars, a glorious palm fringed white sand beach that fringes an aqua indian ocean, plenty of sun loungers, a well equiped gym, tennis and squash courts, water sports, internet room, shop, beautician/massage parlour and resident monkeys.
We only have praise for the staff, their friendliness and service is second to none in the world of hotels. Waiters are a plenty but not intrusive and many of them become good friends. The guest relations officer 'Mercie' will always go the extra mile to ensure your reqests are met.
We got married here and could not have been happier with the whole affair. The resort only allows one wedding per day so making the day special for all ( we were the only wedding in our two week stay and all staff helped us celebrate).
The bedrooms are very clean and pleasant with ample room for three to share but stick your kids in the room next door to allow more privacy!.
Children can have the run of the place as its very secure, safe, supervised and well laid out, you will not lose them (even if you try!)
Somak as a company and the hotel rep were brilliant, always there for you and interested in your welfare.
If you go to Kenya, you must go on safari. We recommend one day in the tropical rainforest and a couple in tsaove park, the lodges and guides are very good, the food lovely, the animals/ experience amazing.
Please remember to take with you money for tips. This country has 45% unemployment, 50% survive on $1 a day, an average income of $1200 per year ( the UK average is eqivalent to $38,000), no social welfare and poverty that will make you truly appreciate how fortunate you are. Spread some happiness about; a hundred kenyan shillings is only 80p but worth four loafs of bread!!!.
have the holiday of your dreams.
