We decided to visit Hells Canyon when visiting some relatives in Oregon to experience a sight deeper than the Grand Canyon. However getting there is an absolute nightmare with it being in the middle of nowhere (heaven forbid your car breaking down). Upon getting there there are litteraly no attractions supporting this incredible sight apart from a few nik naky caravan type shops (probably illegal).

What made this journey throughly unimpressive was the blistering heat and lack of options of getting down the canyon. It is simply a good sight that is non-commercialised. This in itself is pleasant and nothing like the grand canyon but the environment is so harsh that it is unbearable spending any significant time here.
