More typically Greek than any other resort on the island; home to olive groves and local farms. You are more likely to see a donkey here than anywhere else on the island. Vasilikos is a large sprawling resort, very hilly with long, winding roads.

This area is suitable for beach and nature lovers, due to its distance from the madding crowds.

The area mainly consists of basic self-catering studios, but there are one or two hotels but not much else.
