Overview Things to do Suitability Country Info (USA)
Redington Beach is primarily a residential area and is found to be quieter than the most beach communities. The area stretches for about 3 miles, taking in North Redington Beach and Redington Shores. The buildings along the seafront road are a mix of low-rise villas and medium-rise apartment blocks, most of them sit directly on the beach.

Accommodation here is mainly apartments, and there is one good 5 star hotel. Public bus routes runs along the coast road, and taxis can be booked from hotels and restaurants, but as the area is a distance from major entertainment and shopping, a hire car is recommended. Shopping facilities are limited. A few shops and restaurants can be found but not much else.

    Locality:

Redington Beach is found in the South East United States, on the Gulf coast, halfway down the peninsula of Florida State (7 miles South of Clearwater Beach, 2 miles North of Treasure Island). Tampa International airport is 35 miles East and St Petersburg/Clearwater airport 15 miles North East. Redington Beach lies astride Gulf Boulevard, the main road connecting all the barrier islands along the Gulf coast. Causeways link the beach area to the mainland, and the main artery (Park Boulevard) leads East towards the Gandy Bridge and Tampa.
