Nissaki Travel Guide

Overview Things to do Suitability Country Info (Greece)
Nissaki is the next village on from Barbati, both are a few miles from Ipsos yet almost in another world. Here the atmosphere is more refined and insulated from noisier resorts by mountains and cliffs. Essentially a small fishing village offering facilities to tourists, but with no focal point such as a village square.

It is a ribbon development along a winding road which is not particularly busy but can be hazardous due to blind bends and lack of pavements. It has remained unspoiled by the daily influx of visitors, many of whom arrive for the day by boat.

This is a more upmarket resort suitable for families and couples. The accommodation here is mainly private villas and better class hotels.

    Locality:

Nissaki is situated on the north east coast facing Albania (14 mls N of Corfu Town and airport). Nissaki is found clinging precariously to steep mountainside, strung along a stretch of road skirting the mountain with the beach below.
