Cala Blanca is a modern (1990) purpose-built estate, extending N from its beach by an oval one-way system of roads. Private villas and apartments line the bleak esplanade, with coastal views towards Ciudadela. It is joined to the older and marginally more interesting holiday village of Santandria.
Cala Blanca is situated at the W end of the island, 2½ mls S of Ciudadela, 30 mls NW of Menorca's capital city Mahon and the airport. It is set on a W-facing coast, on mainly level ground with a pine-fringed cove engulfed by a well-developed village. |
