Torbole is an attractive resort but very limited with a small quayside, short promenade walk and a couple of backstreets with shops. The main lake road cuts the village in two and there is a lot of traffic. However, Torbole offers the holiday maker many sports: from sailing to windsurfing, from mountain-biking to free-climbing with most available all year round. Of all the villages around the lake, the wind is constant and blows with the greatest intensity at Torbole. This is due to its geographical position, being situated on the north shores of such a big lake, and also to the orographical suitability of the surrounding territory.

Torbole and Nago also offer beautiful walks, winding inland, up the hills and among the fields, through olive and vineyards, along small ancient roads, silent and peaceful. These are easy to reach places, where it is possible to spend a few hours of peace and serenity, with the leaves rustling in the breeze as the only noise, whilst looking at the beauty of nature, that has been so generous here.

This area is suited to mid-market couples prepared for day trips. This area has approximately 30 hotels mainly 3/4 star, some offering own source of entertainment. Nothing really exceptional in position or views.

In N Italy on N tip of Lake Garda. Approximately 90 mls Milan, 120 mls Venice airport. On the NE edge of the lake, lacking the mountain backdrop of E-facing resorts but still with the impressive foothills of the Dolomites towards the W.

Entertainment/Facilities/Attractions/Things to do:

There is a brief stretch of beach to the E and W of the village.

There are some souvenir shops and a couple of boutiques. there ia a local market on he 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month.

Nightlife is only available in Riva which is a couple of miles away.

During the day windsurfing is the main activity, there are bikes for hire, and walking in the hills behind is extremely popular.

There are a few pizzerias/restaurants in the resort, some of the hotels restaurants are open to the public.
