For those who prefer adventure activities with more firepower, Sun City offers Clay Pigeon Shooting. Test your accuracy with a 12-gauge shotgun and try to hit a clay pigeon. Instructors are on hand to assist if you have no previous experience.

Participate in a wildlife adventure with a difference. Depart from the hotel to the 'Elephant Wallow' where you will meet the elephants and their handlers. After a welcome drink and a brief talk, you will board the saddled elephants and enjoy an hour-long elephant ride, followed by drinks and light snacks.

Jump onto one of the quad bikes and explore a wildlife trail. Your Quad bike gives you the opportunity to view rhino, giraffe and other wildlife species while whooshing through the bush. As experienced guides accompany you no experience is necessary on this adventure.

Although hundreds of miles inland, the resort with everything does indeed have a pure white "sand" beach. Like everything else here, it is artificial, being made from refined mine waste. It slopes into a sizeable lagoon complete with wave-making machine. All hotels have very large pools and extensive sunbathing facilities.
