Lassi is located just a couple of minutes from Argostoli the lively resort of Lassi is a popular destination for all holidaymakers. The coast road runs through the town with restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets lining both sides all the way to the outskirts of the resort.

South along this road will take you past the White rocks hotel, a vineyard and up to the Airport. The northerly direction of the Lassi road brings you almost imediately to Argostoli. A regular bus service runs to Argostoli if you don't want to walk.

Lassi is a purpose built resort and is close to or on some of the best beaches on Kefalonia. Lassi has a lot to offer from sweeping bays to small sheltered coves, sun beds, umbrellas and water sports are available -the water is warm and clear.

To get out and about to see the island Lassi has many car rental companies offering small cars and open top jeeps as well as scooters to comb the island.

This are is suited to middlemarket and upmarket couples, singles and families in search of sun, sand and comfortable surroundings but not an authentic Greek experience.

Visitors are predominantly British. Anyone looking for wild nightlife will be disappointed. The accommodation varies from rooms to good hotels, with plenty of self-catering studios and apartments.

Lassi is on the south west coast. (it is 2½ mls SW of Argostoli; 3 mls NW of the airport). The resort hugs the coast and follows the main road to the end of the narrow peninsula at Fanari.

Shopping in the area is limited to souvenir shops, jewellery shops and a few minimarkets. Better choice in Argostoli.

During the daytime the main attractions are the beach life and water sports, go-karting, coastal walks, cycling. For the sight seeing people among us Exploring the peninsula, including Fanari lighthouse with its views across the bay to Lixouri which is exceptional at sunset.

Nightlife in this area consists of numerous bars with live music and restaurants which line the "strip", Greek evenings are a tourist favourite.. Further choice and discos a taxi ride away in Argostoli.

Restaurants vary from original Greek tavernas to upmarket restaurants, there are a few international options, including Chinese and Italian.
