In the South-East corner of England lies the County of Kent an amazingly beautiful area steeped in fascinating history, inviting cities, interesting towns, pretty villages and picturesque countryside. Kent boasts over 50 museums including, 'Sevenoaks Museum', which first opened in 1920 and 'Ramsgate Museum', located in a 1904 neo-Georgian Adam-style building designed by S D Adshead. There are also several stately homes, Castles, beautiful parks and gardens to explore. Notable attractions include, 'Canterbury Cathedral' situated in the city of Canterbury, the worlds largest collection of oast houses at The Hop Farm Country Park and the medieval 'Leeds Castle' built on two small islands in a lake set in 500 acres of parkland and gardens.

Gardens of all types, shapes and sizes - from world famous ones such as Sissinghurst Castle Gardens, to specialist herb and organic gardens, such as those at Iden Croft and Yalding, and smaller, lesser known gardens at Marle Place and Great Comp.
