Overview:

This is a smart residential area fringed by the main N-S highway (or Regional Road), the university and a couple of large schools. Mainly rows of traditional detached houses and little to interest the tourist.

This area suits families and couples who don't mind travelling to amenities for eating out, shopping, entertainment and beaches. This area is just one holiday complex.

Locality:

It is on raised ground in the east of the island, (it is 1¼ mls W of St Julian's and the nearest coast, 4 mls NW of Valletta. 5 mls N of the airport). It is Tto the west of the main road stretching from the airport and the south of the island towards the north and the island's main resorts. It is Immediately north of the university grounds.

Entertainment/Activities/Things To Do:

There are no beaches locally. The nearest rocky beach and swimming is at St Julian's Bay, 1¼ mls.

There is no shopping locally. General stores are ¼ ml away across the main road. Smart shopping in Gzira, 1 ml.

There are no entertainments outside of the holiday complex.

There is a couple of local restaurants and a pizzeria across the main road towards Sliema.
