What is the 'Treasure Hunt' promotion?
Somewhere in traveleye's world destination guide is a buried treasure chest with more than £10,000 worth of prizes. If you find the treasure chest, and open it, you can take your pick from any of the treasures inside. Included in the chest is the star prize of a £3000 dream holiday / vacation to any destination of your choice. Also included are many traditional treasure items of gold, silver, diamond (expensive gold watches, jewellery etc) and other general prizes. More than 50 prizes are held in the chest. If you find and open the chest you will be able to request one of the prizes inside. Each time a prize is removed from the chest it will not be available to fellow treasure hunters.
How do I search for the 'Treasure Chest'?
The treasure trail will take you on a virtual tour around the world through a series of clues and challenges. You will scale the highest mountains, travel the continents, cross some of the world's harshest environments, visit some of the world's most incredible places & monuments, experience the world's divine cultures in order to find a treasure map. The treasure map will reveal the location of the treasure chest. Find the chest, open it and choose from one of the prizes inside.
The trail will lead you through a story, split into chapters. Each chapter will describe a travel destination (in traveleye's world travel guide) and a keyword or picture link. Find the described destination and click the hidden link on the keyword or a hot spot on the destination picture. This hidden link will take you to the next chapter!!
How do I enter the 'Treasure Hunt' competition ?
Simply follow the link below which will take you to the start of the treasure trail. Only the first 7 chapters can be revealed until February 1st 2007 when the race for the treasure chest begins!!
