Byre and Stable Cottages are attached to the farmhouse and offer well equipped, warm and comfortable accommodation on two floors. Situated at the head of Loch Sween and surrounded by forest, fields and woodland, this is a wonderful place for walking and watching wildlife. The cottages are heated by a central log fired boiler - we tend the boiler, you enjoy the warmth.

Kirkland Lodge is a detached timber lodge in a woodland garden with loch views and a very cosy woodburning stove. You can watch lovely sunsets, birds, seals and otters. Deer often visit the garden. The lodge gets some of its electricity from photo voltaic panels.

We are situated in Argyll, on the west coast of Scotland, nine miles from the nearest town, Lochgilphead. The cottages are near the village of Achnamara on Loch Sween in the forest area known as Knapdale.
