For those of you that like a quiet Spanish holiday home without hordes of others jostling you, our rural holiday chalet in the province of Valencia would be ideal.

Alberique is our local town, in UK it would be classed as a village, small and very friendly, it has everything that you might need in the way of shops and restaurants.
Next closest is the village of Tous, this is truly an amazing little community, it was built by Franco's government to house the displaced villagers when their old village was inundated under a reservoir on the other side of the mountain. They took their old church tower with them to the new village and it now takes pride of place in the centre of the village. The residents take great pride in the village.
Xativa (20kms.) is an important town, it boasts a magnificent medieval castle overlooking the town, there is a bullring, modern shopping facilities and plenty of entertainment.
Alzira (15kms.) is the local seat of government, here you will find all the facilities of a modern first world country. Most of the government institutions have their offices here. There is a magnificent hospital if you are in need of medical attention.
Valencia itself (34(kms.), there is nothing we can say about Valencia that would do justice to it's charms, from the Museum of Sciences to the Americas Cup marinas, everything about the city is superlative. Litter and graffiti are almost unknown everywhere is kept sparkling clean, the vast variety of restaurants and boutiques make it a shopping paradise.
